3 Ugh, what’s with all the bad sunscreen news?  First lip gloss may give us skin cancer, now they are saying sunscreen in your foundation does not give you enough coverage.  You need to apply 4 x as much powder or 7 x as much liquid foundation than we apply to reach the SPF on the label!  Then why is allowed to be on the label????    <blockquote>Dear Makeup Companies, </blockquote><blockquote>You know I love you, right?  I love your shadows, your liners, mascaras, your blushes, bronzers and lippies.  Can you please do your number one fan a little favor?   When putting an SPF label on your product, please put the SPF of what we actually apply to our face, not if we dumped the entire bottle on our face. </blockquote><blockquote>Love ya lots, Critty </blockquote> So to keep yourself sun-safe, use a moisturizer with SPF 30 and then think of the sunscreen in your foundation as icing on the cake.  It does not add a further amount of sunscreen but it can get the spots you missed with your moisturizer. 3 Sorry for the lack of posts for the past 2 days, things have been crazy.  I am just catching up!  My sis asked me yesterday to do some sunscreen reviews and I would love to ... but I can't.  My Rosacea/Chronic Hives skin hates sunscreen on my face, and I can only use what it is foundaiton (titanium dioxide), but just TD sunscreens often contain salicylates or benzoates which my hivey skin cannot handle.  So I just use foundation with SPF on my face and wear a big hat.
