Trying out

39 Hi guys!  Well i thought i'd better give things a try today. I tried out my MAC foundation, my new Estee Lauder Eye Pencil in Plum and Estee Lauder Pure Color Swirl Gloss in Berry Swirl! Looked good on me, i love it purple shades are in.  I took photographs of it, but im so terribly nonphotogenic none of them turned out nicely. When i see a camera i just freeze up or something and my smile becomes very unnatural :) Next was to try this out. The blog. Tomorrow i might try out a bit more with my makeup with a critty tutorial close by and if im having a good day and dont look absolutely absurd on the photo, ill post it here. Now its time for bed, because my DJ neighbour will return in 3 hours and make sleeping impossible once again (not great for your skin when you are forced to wake up at 3am!). Night guys! 71 Hello everybody! My name is Rebecca(which I'm sure you could guess from my username), and I am 22 years old. I love shimmery products for the face and eyes. The hardest thing for me is to find a lipstick that doesn't bug the heck out of me all day, so I stick to gloss and balm.So, anywho, I noticed Critty's face blogs, and have decided to do something of my own! A little something I'm going to call my Face of the Week!The creation of this blog is mainly to inspire me to use makeup more frequently and more creatively. I have always been a 'natural look' person, with shimmery gold and bronze. Every once and a while I'll toss in a light pink with some dark brown shading, but I really want to try stepping it up a notch. I will be taking pictures of myself all made up each day, and will choose the best or most interesting look on me, in my opinion, for my Face of the Week blog. Depending on my faces throughout the week, I may have to include a Second Place Face and so on. There just might  be more than one I want to share with you guys. I don't have a lot of experience with makeup techniques or looks other than what I've done to myself, so I will stick to self-taught methods.
