Dara - Oscillation, like all of our mascaras, was designed with every woman and every lash type in mind. It looks beautiful on normal lashes and you can achieve some amazing length, almost like extensions or fake lashes. It’s also incredible on short, straight lashes. We did a demonstration in New York for the press and one of the models had eyelashes that were so short they were almost invisible. She couldn’t believe the length and volume she got from Oscillation. At the end of the day she told us that she felt like she had real lashes for the first time in her life.Critty - Do you recommend using <a href="http://www.lancome-usa.com/makeup/mascara/cils-booster.htm" target="_blank">Cils Booster</a> under Oscillation?  Any other tips for creating ultra thick lashes with Oscillation? Dara - Cils Booster is a great companion to Oscillation. It really provides a base for building a major lash. The other tip is don’t be afraid to play. Oscillation is a very different kind of mascara and you can do lots of interesting things with it. You can apply multiple layers to create a fake-lash look. After applying, you can go back and apply just to the tips. We have a few women on our team who were able to make their lashes reach their eyebrows! Just remember, when you apply, Oscillation don’t zig-zag or wiggle the brush. The wand does the work for you. Apply slow, straight and steady.Critty - What are your favorite mascara insider secrets? Dara - We just received a great tip from a makeup artist who used Oscillation on some major celebs the other night. 3 Update - New Contest, <a href="../482-new-oscillation-contest-" target="_blank">deets are here</a> !  I am very happy to report, I have finally tried the new mascara, Oscillation by Lancome!!   I've been dying to try it and one of my friends ordered it for me and I finally got it on Friday!  <img src="http://www.beautifulmakeupsearch.com/storage/lancome_oscilliation.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1217292516911" alt="" width="115" height="250" align="middle" /> As you know, the mascara has an oscillating or spinning brush.   That sounds a lot scarier than it really is.   The oscillations are so tiny that you do not need to worry about poking your eye out. You will see in the video below that the slight movement from the wand is just enough to make sure every lash gets coated with  mascara.  I would say this mascara is more a lengthening mascara. It creates long, natural looking lashes that are never spidery. It doesn't thicken as much as I am used to, but the ability to get all of my short lashes definitely makes up for some of the thickness. If you are looking for a great lengthening mascara, Oscillation is definitely a top contender.   It not only lengthens but gives the appearance of slightly thicker lashes while looking very natural.   The best part is it does it super fast, so you girls that are always rushing out the door, can apply it quickly and have fab lashes all day.I rate it 5 of 5, it does everything I need from a mascara plus lets me sleep in 3 minutes longer in the morning.  I am in love! Of course, I can not leave you guys without the opportunity to try Lancome Oscillation!   And it is not available until later in the Fall - but I purchased an extra one to give away!
