71 Hello everybody! My name is Rebecca(which I'm sure you could guess from my username), and I am 22 years old. I love shimmery products for the face and eyes. The hardest thing for me is to find a lipstick that doesn't bug the heck out of me all day, so I stick to gloss and balm.So, anywho, I noticed Critty's face blogs, and have decided to do something of my own! A little something I'm going to call my Face of the Week!The creation of this blog is mainly to inspire me to use makeup more frequently and more creatively. I have always been a 'natural look' person, with shimmery gold and bronze. Every once and a while I'll toss in a light pink with some dark brown shading, but I really want to try stepping it up a notch. I will be taking pictures of myself all made up each day, and will choose the best or most interesting look on me, in my opinion, for my Face of the Week blog. Depending on my faces throughout the week, I may have to include a Second Place Face and so on. There just might  be more than one I want to share with you guys. I don't have a lot of experience with makeup techniques or looks other than what I've done to myself, so I will stick to self-taught methods. I will, however, read up on tips and tutorials, and will definitely listen and try out suggestions from all of you guys here on Pretty. 3 <img src="http://a248.e.akamai.net/www.maccosmetics.com/images/categories/beautypowderblush_390.jpg" alt="MAC Beauty Powders" title="MAC Beauty Powders" width="234" height="201" /> If you are looking for a new blush ... get your bottom to the nearest MAC counter pronto to check out the 6 new <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY27356&PRODUCT_ID=PROD12678" target="_blank">Beauty Powders</a> !  I was excited to see them, but not as excited as I should have been ... they are amazing! MAC always does a great job with shadows and blushes, but these blushes are even better than their normal ones.  Six little containers of blush heaven!  OK, I admit it, I am 100% completely obsessed with blushes lately.  And I cannot find the perfect shade.  The Bobbi Brown Blue Raspberry came close, but it was a bit too pink for my skin ... I gave it to my sister who it looked fabulous on.   I tried the new L'Oreal pink blush it was pretty, but too light (even on a pasty girl like me), Benefit's Throbbb was OK, but not enough color payout.  I was hoping the new MAC ones would be better ... and they were. I chose True Romantic which MAC describes as a "mid-tone pink with silver pearl".  I call it the best blush ever!  With one sweep of the blush my skin (pasty white) was glowing the most glorious, natural blush I have ever seen.  It looked like a color I would natural blush and was so soft and lovely.  It was neither too timid in color, or over the top ... simply put - the best blush ever.  Ever.  This is definitely my Holy Grail of blushes and I am going to buy another one because they are limited editions.   I also chose Eversun a "neutral peach bronze with gold pearl".  I call it the perfect bronzer for pale chicks.  I have the worst time finding bronzers that aren't too orange or dark for my skin ... not anymore!  Eversun made me look like I had been out in the garden all afternoon ... even though we still have a foot of snow here!  If you are pale and having bronzer trouble, you will want to check out Eversun ... it is simply gorgeous. I am regretting not getting Shy Beauty or Joyous but since I have to exchange something, I may just get one of them as well ... or both.  I am that obsessed with these colors.
