Has anyone tried their shadows and their shadow kits I was really wondering about the Key West collection which was for a limited time. I just wondered if any of you guys had bought that collection and in general how do you like the shadows ? Do you use them dry or wet or with a mixing medium .....thanks guys for your replies to this !!

I don't use BE because the bismuth makes me super itchy, but I know your homemade mixing medium will greatly extend your eye makeup look when using mineral shadows :)

I don't have that particular set, but I do have quite a few of the eyeshadows, I bought them individually and from a couple of sets. You can use them dry for a softer (I guess thats the word I'm looking for) or wet with a mixing medium for a more bolder look. It makes the colors more vivid and last a whole lot longer too. My preference is wet for the shadows on my lid, but for the highlight I use it dry.

I have some Bare Escentuals eyeshadows and I really like them. They go on very smooth and are well pigmented. The only problem is there is some fallout but not much.

I really liked their "Key West" collection but it was only offered at QVC and I did not get my order in in time and they sold out and they were not restocking the item anywhere . So I did go to Ebay and I think the set of three was like $69 bucks ...I like them but I was unsure of the colors on me and I have some of their collections and they are okay but I just don''t see me buying this set for $69 dollars ....Have any of you guys have this collection ? If so, did you like it ?

Every mineral makeup I've tried did not work for me. Particularly the foundations -- they came out an "off" color. I tried the shadow and didn't like that either.

People seem to either love or hate the MMU, I can't get it to work for my skin type at all. I have just hauled some Purely Cosmetics MMU, so I shall be trying it out for a few days to see if that works for me. If not, I am officially giving up!
