lol, so this is going to be a little challangeing for me, but I'll try to be as clear, coherent and articulate in English as I can...
I want to know how to match different finishes of products in my make-up in a correct way. I'm tired of the all over matte look, only with the skin having a glowing finish. I want to use some shimmery, pearly eyeshadows in bronze colours, but is it right if I pair them up with a frosty blush and glossy lips? I really want to stay away from the discoball looking face, but at the same time I really want to pull off a more dewy look.
Is it ok if I use a pearly colour as the base colour on my lid, and also a pearly shadow in the crease? Would it be better a matte colour to contour better?
I mean.. is there a guideline to help me match shimmer finishes with matte finishes properly?
I'm sorry for being.. a bit galling with this subject, but I've no idea how to.. scrape all together. thank you :)

Aww, and I almost forgot. I bought a cream blush (well it's more like a gel) from the body shop. I love it dearly, the colour is perfect, the staying power astonished me. But sometimes when I use it.. i don't know how to put this, but looks from a completely different picture. It does mix, but doesn't match. Seems that I can wear it only in natural looks, only with mascara and a lipgloss.. is there anything I can do?

what would Jesus not do?
