Hi Guys, I am a nurse working it the industry. I was reading some of the entries and saw that someone was troubled by "uneven lips". This used to be my bug-bear also. So one day I got my lips injected actually it was about 5 years ago. It was fantastic. I had older style products back then (collagen and Hylaform) and though those results didn't last a really long time, my lip eveness was instant and did not ever return to being as uneven. Since then I have had my lips injected a further 3 times.... the treatments depending on the brand can differ in the length of result time...I guess I get it done about every 18 months or so. I LOVE the result....lip glosses look fabulous...it s like your lips become super charged (even just vaseline looks wonderful, but I tend to go for natural looking glosses as a rule)..I rarely even bother with lip liners any more. If you can get a good injector then they will help keep your appearance looking natural... The two best products for lips are Juvederm (by Allergan who produce Botox) and Restylane (Q-med a swiss company) I do prefer Juvederm as it is a softer more natural look and swells much less initially. I now inject lips and lines, with fillers, sculptra and botox...if anyone wants to know more I can maybe help you with your questions....nice and discreet...the pricing here in Australia will be different to the US so I would be interested in finding out how much those products are over there

Hey Mon - great info! I have seen someone (I'll never tell who - but it wasn't me, mine are extremely uneven!) get their lips evened out and plumped up a bit with Juvederm and it really looked like it hurt (compared to Botox). Same with the "puppet" lines. Is there anything you can do to lessen the pain? I know you are not suppose to take Advil beforehand ...

C :)
