Hey Guys !!!

So I was just wondering what your skin care regime consists of .........products and routine!

Sooooo.....i guess I’ll go first!

I use only Lush Cosmetics for my skin care .......

MORNING:
1. Wash with Angels on Bare Skin cleanser/exfoliate
2. Moisturize with Imperialis (very lightly on the nose & chin!)
3. Apply Mineral Make-up

NIGHT:
1. Remove eye make-up with Sweet Japanese Girl
2. Wash with Coalface (or Fresh Pharmacy if I’m having a breakout)
3. Moisturize with Celestial

EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT:
1. Wash with Coalface
2. Exfoliate with Ocean Salt
3. Apply Mask of Magnaminty, let dry then rinse
4. Moisturize with Celestial

I would love to add some SPF in there somewhere but they're all too greasy..... i'm open to any suggestions!

Well that's it for me, nothing too extravagant here...... now it's your turn!!!!!

Well mine is really, really boring.

Morning:
1. Wash with La Roche Posay Rosaliac Gelee cleanser - bought this because it was suppose to take off makeup, but it doesn't, so I use it in the morning. This is a very weird texture and I won't be buying it again ...
2. Boots No 7 Restore & Renew Serum - love this stuff, it's anti-aging but I don't react to it.
3. Boots No 7 Eye Gel - soothing, not too greasy
4. Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Moisture Gel - great for summer, no SPF though
5. A foundation with SPF 15, looking for a higher one

Evening
1. La Roche Posay Hydraphase Cleansing Milk, this takes off my makeup.
all the same stuff as the morning, minus the foundation :)

Once or twice a week I use the Lancome Purifying Mask with White Clay after the shower to suck out all of the badness from my face. Let is dry for about 10 minutes and then wipe off.

I am going to get a new cleanser for sensitive skin and am still on the hunt for a sunscreen that won't break me out.

Critty :)

Current obsessions: MUFE HD Foundation (Pink Porcelain), UD Book of Shadows palette and UD 24/7 Travel Sets (both of them) and HBO's True Blood.

I'm another boring one - I go for minimal

Morning:

1. Wash with Dove Cleanser for Sensitive skin - love drug store prices
2. Swipe chin with Clearasil black head control pad to keep the zits at bay
3. Boots No 7 eye gel - so cooling and lovely
4. Paula's Choice skin balancing daily mattifying lotion - has SPF 15 and great under foundation
5. Christian Dior foundation with SPF 15 to up it to 30 - no break outs

Night:

1. Remove eye make up Almay oil free wipes - love them and their price
2. Dove for Sensitive skin gets rid of my facial make up
3. Boots No 7 Eye Gel
4. Paula's Choice Skin Balancing moisture Gel - little heavier then my day time one

Once in a while I use Avene exfoliator and a Lancome Purifying Mask with White Clay. Tea tree oil to zap the odd zit or Neutragena Acne Spot control at night to zap them as they start.

I use Paula's choice SPF 30 sunscreen - it is non greasy and I don't break out. I like the Neutragena one but find it is thick and I need to tug at my face to rub it in. Paula's choice is almost watery and absorbs very quickly - and the price makes my bank account happy

Morning-
Shiseido Benefiance Cleanser
ShiseidoBenefiance Enriched Toner
Philosophy Hope-in-a-Jar Moisturizer (I SWEAR by this stuff!)

Night-
MAC Wipes to take off makeup
Then the same stuff in the morning
Dermaquest Dermalash (This stuff is a liquid you put at the base of your eyelashes, and it makes them longer and thicker. It's rather exspensive, at $90, but my Mom and I live off of it!)

I'm pretty boring myself, haha.

Mine is boring and I am still in search of that great cream to help with fine lines !

I use Clinique and I have used it for years ...I wash my face ..at night ..use a toner and moisturize ..... I repeat the same process in the morning . I do an exfoliating scrub either a homemade one or St. Ives once or twice a week .. I am really wanting to change up my products ...I think now that I am 44 I need something different. And like I said I am trying to find something good for fine lines and most people say Retin-a and I did get a script for it and my insurance will not cover it if you are over 35 ....? so not fair. But without insurance it is like 199.10 so if any of you ladies have tried a generic brand of this or a affordable product that could help I would love to hear your ideas .... I had samples of the Retin-a and it does work ...its just alot of money for a tiny tube ....

I have gone off Clinique as I have got older - although the Turnaround Facial still works for me. My new magic is the Facial Oils as moisturiser - not as strange as it may sound - they are not "oily" and in fact can be used on oily skin. The Fabulous Facial oil from Aesop is expensive, but worth it in my book. I have also given up with toner as it "strips" my skin - a really good facewash and muslin cloth seems to be better, just finish with cool water. I also like Philosophy Hope in a Tube, or Eye Believe for fine lines around the eyes and upper lip. Hope this helps ;-)

Sounds good to me!
Please trust me with the Clinique - as you get a bit older it does strip your skin of moisture. The oils are fabulous - they are not "oily" in the slightest, but they are very soothing - OK they are expensive, but I think they're worth it! I also love my Philosophy - Hope in everything!

Now I finally managed to put together a regimen, found some really cool products who work wonders on my dry skin and never plan to let them.

So.. 1st thing in the morning and last thing in the evening:
1. 3in1 emulsion with milk from korres to remove any makeup residue/dust - simply A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
2. white tea gel cleanser also from Korres (love it!) and warm water
3. my latest discovery: Soothing Toner from Sephora - leaves my skin feeling soooo soft, and I only have a couple of days of usage
4. by night: Bio-Performance eye cream from Shiseido
5. Oligo 25 illuminating moisturizer from Vichy /vitamin E cream (body shop) - so lovely. shimmery. and moisturizing!

and I exfoliate my skin also, once or twice a week, I have now these cool scrub with raspberry/apricot, from Freeman. work amazingly good. But I want to buy a scrub from Korres also, I love their skincare products (and makeup!). They have really good results on me.

what would Jesus not do?

From what I have learnt over time, a cleanser that leaves your skin feeling "tight" (often soap/detergent based cleansers) are doing your skin damage by literally stripping it of the skins own natural moistruizing factors and intercellular lipids..detergents are fine for your dishes but not for your face. "solvent" or water based cleansers are the cleansers of choice both for dry or oily skins and especially sensitive skins. I use an Australian brand cleanser "Rationale" developed initially for post laser skin, but works with every skin type, it has no detergents, it has anti-oxidant vitamins, soothing botanicals and leaves skin feeling fresh and clean not stipped and irritated. I have been using other products for about 25 years and this is the best my skin has ever looked. Now I am 43!
