ok so i got this Shu Uemura oil cleanser because of its good reviews (and because it's Japanese, i'll admit)...apparently, one bottle of this product is sold every 20 seconds worldwide.
Pros: the only EVER true eye-make-up remover. none of the panda-look in the morning. seriously, in 2 seconds, it removes all the mascara from the lashes, as if it wasn't even there.
Cons: it's actually oil-based, it makes foam ...but i can feel the oil on my skin. and my pores look sort of built-up w/ residue.
I always cleanse w/ purity by philosophy afterward...i don't know what to do.
did anyone had similar experiences with shu uemura? everyone on sephora seems to love it....
btw i went to get my eyebrows shaped and the lady asked me if i exfoliated my skin and recommended me a facial...what was i gonna say? oh yeah it's all because of my new cleanser, i love it and i hate it at the same time...??? it's true but i didn't feel like excusing myself...

Yep, I had that problem with it too, so I basically used it and then a separate daily exfoliator. I used most of my bottle, but I so still have some. I have weird acne-prone (all of it: whiteheads, blackheads and the cystic stuff) skin and I really can't tolerate a lot of stuff, it's either too drying or gives me more acne. If you like it for the makeup removing aspect, you should try the Boots eye makeup remover pads: they're oily, do a great job getting the makeup off and cheap, too.
