Heh.. That's another one of my favourite accessories. I love collecting scarves, and I confess that.. when I see a scarf I like.. a specific pattern.. I buy that scarf in every colour it's available.
What can I say.. I just think that a scarf, correctly chosen, could make an entire outfit pop.. or drop. It's the touch which makes the difference :)
Now I'm currently sporting lots and lots of.. keffyiahs. I bought most of my collection from Pimkie. I love that store :) Purple, hot pink, original white/black, turquoise, yellow, red.. you name it :)

I know that a true keffyiah should be black/white, and the pattern differs from.. ethnical group to ethnical group (sorry if i'm not quite politically correct), but.. I just wear them as accessories, and not as a statement :)
Ah.. and for me.. SIZE does matter. indeed, the bigger, the better. I love long long long scarves I can wrap various times around my neck.

I also share your scarf-love :) Although I do not have your beautiful long neck, so scarves don't look that great on me, I love them anyways. Any opportunity to get more color near my face! I tried to learn how to knit so I could make fabulous one of a kind scarves, but I am not a crafty girl at all. I am also allergic to wool, so I have to find cotton or silk scarves. My faves are big, chunky ones with lots of texture and color. Living in Canada make scarves a necessity for at least 5 months of the year!!

Its always too hot to wear scarves where I live. It NEVER gets cold enough. I have a scarf though, its a long, lime green one. The last time I wore it was when it snowed for Christmas five years ago. I normally don't even wear a nice thick, heavy jacket either. I have a thicker fleece jacket that I wear during winter, and thats good enough for me.

I love scarves. I don't buy them anymore, unless I see a gorgeous, one of a kind, because I can knit them. Knitting scarves is so addicting, because it's pretty easy and there are endless possibilities.
