Do you find inspiration in the celebrities' outfits or style? How do you get your inspiration when mixing and matching stuff together? What is the style you usually go for?

I find that I get into phases. I find pieces that I really like and usually try to build my outfit around it. Exactly the way the experts say you are not supposed to shop...oh well.

If I didn't work in a place where your appearance was vitally important (selling wedding gowns), I would probably dress a lot differently than I do now. When I lived in LA, I worked at a magazine, all too briefly. Now, there were a ton of different magazines in our building, and there was one girl who always looked like a '50's pinup (more clothed, of course). She had black hair, always wore cherry red lipstick, and pretty much looked perfect, everyday. While her retro look is now very popular, this was about 8 years ago, so she was very unique.

What I've done personally is to find pieces that go together, but are a bit different. For example, I have a jacket that is a very current cut, but it's a bright, spring green. I often wear it with all black, to give it some pop. I also like to pick those brightly colored items to pair with all black (like red shoes), just to be a little different.

All in all, I guess i just like to be a little different.

I tend to usually see people in real life who I like to copy their style, but if I had to pick a celebrity, I like the way Nicole Ritchie dresses. I like a sort of relaxed hippie look with interesting embellishments. I love embroidery, little sequins or anything that gives a little flourish. I also usually live in jeans and flowy kinda tops and skirts in the summer. I never wear heels, and at 5' 0" I probably should but I don't care. :)

well.. when it comes to my way of choosing clothes, i just get stuff I like, whether it is 'in trend' or not.. but I have to say that I like Irina Lazareanu's style and Kate Moss's.. I got a pair of red, short boots just because I've seen Kate wearing them and LOVED them.. :) oh, i'm such a copy cat :D
