I'm ridiculously bored, so I decided to show my drugstore haul, and my first couple of mac orders.
Drugstore:
CG Amazement in "Slap Happy" (I love the name) It's a pretty sheer peachy pink color and I quite like it. It's supposed to make my breath fresher, and it smells really nice. Kind of minty and vanilla-y.
Almay Clear Complexion Powder in Light I tried my Everyday minerals samples and it broke me out horribly (more in the next blog) so I wanted something that might help treat my skin quicker. I've been pretty impressed by almay, and I love that they don't test on animals. My only really gripe with this is the color selection. The lightest isn't that light, and the darkest is medium.
Mineral Power Liquid Foundation in Light 0 I bought this stuff when it first came out, and I must have been asleep or it was just wishful thinking that I'd gotten tan, but I got the light 2, which was WAY too dark. The weird think about all of maybelline's foundations is that whenever I swatch them on my wrist they are ridiculously orange, and then I'm nervous to put them on my face. But luckily this is a good color for me. It's a light coverage but I like that for summer. I'm hoping it won't irritate my skin too much.

I needed a gentle soap to use on my face in the morning and I'm hoping this will work. I'm slowly learning how unbelievably annoying my skin is. I used to think that it was oily, but now I realize that it's actually dry, dehydrated and shiny. Ack.
MAC:
My first mac things were from the colourforms collection.
Basic Brush Kit (the red one)
It's okay. I only have one full size MAC brush (187) so I wanted to get some more. I heard that a lot of people weren't happy with these, but considering the price, I'm glad I got it.
Richmetal Highlighter in Quick Flash I love this color. My favorite thing to do with this so far is put it as a base then brush BE vanilla sugar up t to the brow bone. I then add soft focus explor in the crease and blend like mad. It's really pretty.
Lipstick in Inner Hue This is my favorite thing I got. It's a cute pinky peach color (my favorite colors for my face) and it's very moisturizing. Not much else to say other then it's wonderful.
From the permanent collection I got the studio fix powder foundation a few months ago. I love the coverage but I felt like it was breaking me out so I'm on the market for a new foundation. I got the studio finish concealer, which I like. I also got their Viva V Lipglass and I LOVE it! It's so pretty.
This one's getting long so I'm going to write another blog about my skin issues. :)
