...after spending a week at the hospital after Hurricane Gustav. I slept there because I was working 14 hour shifts and we didn't have power at home. It looks like we will be dodging Hurricane Ike, though.
Right now, my skin is a wreck, its so dry and peely. Its disgusting. My lips too! Ugh! I guess the dry air of the hospital and not having any of my normal face stuff with me at the hospital has something to do with it.
I came home on Saturday night, and the house was a complete mess. We were the only people in my family that had power, so about 8 of my family members were sleeping at my house. Ugh, they finally all got power this past Tuesday, so I've been cleaning like a fool these past couple of days.
Anyway, I wore this look Sunday because we had our family Labor Day Barbeque just a week late.
I think I have posted this look before, but I don't care. I really love it so much, I couldn't help but do it again.
I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance as a base on my entire lid, and then MAC Rollickin' Paint Pot just on my lid. I used MAC Warm Chill on the inner part of my lid, MAC Gulf Stream on the middle part of my lid, and MAC Cool Heat on the outer third of my lid. I used MAC Climate Blue eyeshadow on my outer V and crease. I used MAC Solar White as a highlight. I used MAC Syrup lipstick and MAC Cultureclash lipglass.

A fallen tree, it fell in the perfect spot, between my house and the neighbors.
All in all, we fared pretty well. An adjuster is coming look at our roof this weekend, and all the water stains on the ceiling (of course, its only my room and my closet that has the water stains). My mom can't wait to paint my ceiling to get rid of them, but I just don't feel like doing it. I think I can live with the water stains, it adds character, lol!

You look beautiful ! I love these colors on you and I am so glad that you and your family made it through the storms ....That tree looks like it could of done some major damage if it hadn't went in the middle. But I am glad you are okay Jackie and hope things get back to normal soon ! Take Care
