Hair Color - Do you Go Lighter in Spring?

This week marks the begining of Spring .... yay!  Lots of women start lightening their hair in Spring and Summer to achieve more of a "sun-kissed" look.  Do you add more higlights in Spring or chose a lighter all over color?

I had been coloring my hair for 20 years but stopped two years ago because I thought ome of my health problems may be attributed to the hair dye.  I LOVE coloring my hair and changing my look all the time and the past two years have been very hair-depressed - lol.  After 2 years of color-free hair and have recently found 2 grey hairs, I have decided it is time for some highlights.

I've called my hair stylist and I have an appointment for Thursday to add some caramel and honey colored highlights and I am excited.  But I'll have to get some shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair.  One of my favorite lines  is Artec, and I'll do a review a few weeks after my new highlights.

Are you planning on changing your hair for Spring?  What are you going to do?  What products do you love?

Since I began noticing the odd grey hairs I have started to do the highlight thing in the summer. Being a blond, I find that the older I get the mousier my blonde gets. So I lighten it up! it's almost time!!

I stopped colouring and highlighting my hair about 2 years ago...wanted to go back to my natural colour. I just turned 35 last week, and on my actual birthday, I noticed a few grey hairs!!! I think they just popped out that day!! I think I may have to start colouring again!
