Sorry no posts for so long Pretties!  Crazy things aregoing on in my personal life (all good) but I can't share yet :)  Here are my pics and haul from the Make Up For Ever Booth at the Canadian Make Up Show.  Ooo the booth had so many fun products to play with, inlcuding the whole pro line you can get at the Make Up For Ever Boutique
(8 East 12th Street New York, NY 10003 - 212-941-9337) which you can call and order products from if they don't sell what you want at your local Sephora.  Little tip for you, Sephora and Make Up For Ever are both owned by the same parent company LVMH.

A bunch of pro palettes, brushes, bags, chairs and other fun stuff:

Lashes (ooooh!) and eye shimmers:

Eye shadows, if I were rich, I would want this whole set up in my room!

The booth was so crowded I couldn't get a good shot of the lip or foundation lines.  Booo.  But here are the shadows I bought:

The empty palette:

Palette size compared to a MAC eyeshadow palette:

The little plastic case the shadows come in (warning:  they are quite hard to get out, I ended up cutting some of them out with nail scissors):

The eyeshadows are A LOT bigger than MAC's shadows.  See the comparison:

The back of the shadows (no magnets, they stick in the squishy foam), some shadows are named blushes, but they actually are shadows according to the 2008 catalogue.  Not sure why.

My shadows all nestled in their new home (sorta messy still, have to figure out what is best to clean the foam part, a wipe didn't work at all):

Labled with the color numbers (notice the one lonely neutral?!):

A cute little bag the HD powder and kabuki brush came in:

Ok, you know how I had problems with the HD Powder before and I knew it was user error.  It turns out I was putting waaaaaaaay too much on.  All you need is this little amount for your whole face:

What that small amount looks like on the brush:

I really recommend the kabuki with the powder, it is fantabulous!  You can get the Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Powder Kit ($69 Value) HD High Definition Powder Kit for $45 at Sephora.  Love now that I know how to use it!

Another great tip I learned, for the pasty girls who are prone to redness, use the Make Up For Ever HD Microperfecting Primer 5 Blue not the green.  The blue made my skin look luminous and it took all the redness away.  Can I marry this stuff?

If you like the HD makeup, you are going to be thrilled they are coming out with a concealer soon.  Woooo hooo!

Can't wait to try out the new shadows and post the looks!

What are your fave MUFE products?

Ugh, I'm so jealous! I want some of those shadows! I think I'm going to just have to get the HD powder and Primer. I can't wait to see some of those shadows in some looks soon.
