Critty's Face - 07/14

OK, you must ignore my crazy hair, I am getting a cut and highlights next Monday, so I must live with the crazy triangle head until them. 

The post by StaceB in the forum inspired me to try mixing the two foundations I am having trouble with and I liked the consistency of mixing L'Oreal True Match and MAC Studio Fix Fluid, and I'm curious to see how long they last on my face.

 

 

 

 

 

 

OK, so I used the two foundations mentioned above, plus Physician's Formula Circle Rx and Dior Skinflash pen on my circles.  I am growing a painful zit on the end of my nose, so it is nice and red - boooo to that.  On my eyes I used UD Primer Potion and Benefit Cream Creaseless Shadow/liner in Tattle Tale as a base.  I forgot how much I love them!!

So I was unsure what kinda look I wanted to created today, but I put the MAC Sonic Chic blush on in Pleasantry first, so after that I had to go with a cool look.  Pleasantry is a nice pop of cool pink, it will be gorg in the winter too.  Man, I love that little tiny buffer brush for applying the blush - no need for blending!!

On my eyes I only used the Electro Flash Duo in Sea & Sky mostly applied dry except in the outer corner, I used it wet.  There was quite a bit of fallout, so I might apply all wet next time, or do my foundation afterwards.  I also tried the Pop Beauty cake liner, but it did not go on very darkly, I will have to play more with it.  No reviews for the shadow or the liner, yet, as today was only day 1!  Mascara was Cover Girl Lash Blast.

Lips were subtle, didn't want to look too 80s (as I was alive in the 80s unlike most of you guys and had my first makeup experiences in that frightening decade) so I just used L'Oreal Color Juice lipgloss in Pink Opal.

I re-organized my makeup drawers today and I am officially not allowed to buy any more blush.  The amounts I have are INSANE for one person.  I have a pile of shadows to depot and found some old favorites that were hiding in my drawers.  It feels good to have my makeup all organized again!!

I feel you on the organized makeup. I feel like I need to reorganize my life sometimes too. I love the look here, but I can't see myself buying this duo. I have quite a few blue shadows, so I could probably make a dupe of it if I wanted. But don't get me wrong, I do love it. And I love the look here!
