Critty's Face - 06/26

I was having a pretty good day and now it has gone all questionable on me - booooooooo.  So very frustrating personal stuff, the site was down this afternoon, I won a Paypal dispute but the person doesn't have any money in their account so I have lost my money and I had to reapply my makeup!  Well, at least I got it all out of the way before the long weekend ... yes, it is a long weekend in Canada - woo hoo! 

I am trying to figure out these Fyrinnae shadows, but man do they go on dark when they are wet.  I still have to play with them to figure them out.  I started off with a browny/bronze look with Fire Opal but that turned into a nightmare.  Fire Opal makes a great liner, not shadow.  So I washed it all off and started again.  

 

 

 

 

I applied Fyrinnae Party Crasher (bright pink with silver glitter) wet and it went a dark pink with a purplish undertone - not what I was expecting!  After swearing a lot how I was going to have to wash my face again I remembered I could dry brush some of the color out.  So that spread the color out and made it a little less intense.  I applied MAC Da Bling along the crease and blended it down into the Party Crasher.  I applied MAC Pink Pearl pigment on the outer crease.  I used MAC White Frost shadow as a highlight above my brow bone.  On the inner corners and along the lower lash line I used Sephora Flashy Lilac liner and on the top last line I added GOSH waterproof liner in Purple Stain at the last minute, so I did a really crappy job of it because my mascar was still wet.  Speaking of mascara, I have on Clinique Lash Power.

On my face I have Cover FX Natural FX in E0, Fyrinnae finishing powder in Oil Control and Dior Flower Palette as blush.  On my lips I have L'Oreal Color Juice Sheer in Pink Opal.
