Sigh, I have a new love in my love.  Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara in Electric Blue.  I totally screwed it up today, trying it on top of black mascara.  I should know that the Big Fatty likes to be to the star of the show and not to mess it up.  I'll do a better look with it tomorrow I promise!

I did a copper and turquoise look ...

 

OK, I started with my usual sustpects and I tried the big fluffy Coastal Scents brush similar to the MAC powder brush - love it!  More detailed review in a few days, once I try all the new brushes out.

On my lid I applied MAC Paint Pot in Indianwood and blended up into the crease.  I put the turquoise liner on the top lash line, but I didn't like it, so I put more Indianwood overtop, but you can see a bit peaking through.   

On the lower lash line I used a Clarins Eye Pencil in Turquoise Flash from their Summer 2006 (sorry) collection.  I applied BeneFit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Tattle Tale as a highlight on my brow bone and on the inner corners of my eyes.  

I used  Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Bourbon on my lower waterline.  This is becoming my fave go-to pencil.  It is similar in color to MAC's Teddy but it lasts all day long.

For some crazy reason, I wanted to mix black mascara with  Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara in Electric Blue which I don' recommend, because it takes away it's beautiful brightness.  If you are trying to tone it down, then apply a black mascara and the blue overtop.  I was not trying to tone it down ... oh well! 

On my cheeks I have L'Oreal True Match blush in  Warm Honey and on my lips L'Oreal Infalliable Never Fail lipgloss in Sunset.

What do you have on today?  Is the look a keeper?  Or do you need to tweak it like I do?

Oooo...I like this look. I just bought Big Fatty mascara in Black Cherry, but I have yet to try it out. Today, on my eyes I have MAC Illegal Cargo on my lid, and Sketch in my crease and outer v, Shore Leave as my highlight, LOreal HIP cream eyeliner in eggplant, and LashBlast in Black. My lips are NYX in Shakira, its a very pretty pink color. I'll keep this look again, maybe try a different color in the V or something.

I bet your look today would be fab with the Black Cherry Big Fatty! I like NYX glosses too, my fave is Beige, I'll have to check out Shakira! Please post how you like it, as that may be the next on my purchase list :)
