Flickr was taking crazy long to upload my photos, and I forgot I can upload pics onto my profile - duh!  If you need help doing that, just let me know!

Ok today I am all about purple ...

On my eyes I am sporting Urban Decay Fishnet (bright pinky purple) all over my lids and UD Ransom (bright roya purple) on the outer 1/3 of my eye.  Both shadows from the Deluxe Shadow Box.  On the lower lash line I have Fishnet on the outer hald, blended into UD Grifter from the Urban Ammo Eye Palette which is a sparkly lilac.  Under my brow bone and in the inner corner of my eye I have MAC's Digit which is a whiteish purply color, great for highlights in a cool look.  Mascara is two different ones, see the next post for the scoop.

Blush, MAC Beauty Powder in True Romantic and lippy is a mix of Dior Mauve Selection and MAC Snob.  Snob is too light and lilacy for me usually, but it's great to add over a lippy that you want to cool down, or lighten.  Just because a color doesn't work for you, doesn't mean you can't blend it and mix it to make interesting other colors ...

If I were to do this look again, I think I would add a lighter pink all over  my lid and add with either the Fishnet or Ransom to the crease or lashline.  They are very similar and I prefer more of a contrast.

I got my Coastal Scents brushes in the mail today - that was super fast!  I can't wait to try them out!

What did you wear today?  Will you wear it again?

Today I wore my Perscriptives Foundation and Magic powder on my face, with just a random blush I have. I wore MAC Patina and Satin Taupe on my eyes. Juxt in my crease, and Shroom as my highlight. I tried using eyeshadow as my eyeliner by wetting my brush. I used a MAC 266 brush and Humid as my liner. I don't think I will do this again. I like my pencil and cream liners. And LashBlast in black, with clear gloss on my lips.

That sounds like a very pretty look Jackie. I find MAC shadows are not good to wet for liner, I just use them dry. How magical is the magic powder? Why do you love it? Do I need to love it?

Its very magical! Its called Liquid Powder, so when you put it on it has a kind of "cooling" effect. It took a while to get used to putting on, because you think that your brush is wet, but its not! It kind of adds a shimmer, but not overpowering. I love it. Prescriptives has a whole line of "magic" items. I want to try the eye shadow effects. I would most definetly check it out. If you don't buy it, at least try some on, because it feels amazing. Only thing, its a little pricey...but I believe, if you love it, you'll pay anything.

Sounds very "cool", pun intended! I will have to visit Prescriptives!
