My Face Today - May 9, 2008

Woo hoo!  I just came back from Sephora ... and the testers were go clean, it was lovely.  I didn't buy too much, but I did get something I have wanted to try for a while, a heated eyelash curler.  I look forward to playing with it!

I went for a neutral look today with golds and bronzes.

 

I have on Smashbox PF light primer, L'Oreal True Match foundation in N1, Physcian's Formula Organic Wear Mineral Foundation in Light.

On my eyes I used the Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box to create the look.   I used Honey (a dirty gold) close to my lash line and along the lower lash line and inner corner.  All over the lid I used Underground a bronzy brown.  I used the Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Bronze on my upper lashline and waterline.  I used Clinique Lash Power mascara in black (first day trying it).

On my cheeks I have my fave bronzer L'Oreal True Match Blush in Warm Honey and on my lips L'Oreal Made for Me Nautrals lippy in Cashmere.  

This weekend we have the inlaws coming tomorrow, perhaps spending the night and then going to the cottage on Sunday.  A trip to the drugstore to check out any new NYX comsetics might be in the works!  Any big plans for the weekend?  Are you moms preparing to be spoiled?

I really like your gold eyes! I got an eGift Certificate to Sephora, and I got that same palette, so I can't wait to try it. <br> I'll be making a little trip to the semi-new Sephora tomorrow. I have to return something to the mall anyway. And I need to get a Mother's Day gift for my mom. I think I will get a few more things from Naughty Nauticals too. I am liking some of the lip glasses and lip sticks. Gosh, MAC is getting soooo much of my hard earned money, but I just have to have it all. Its like sickness or something! <br> Today I wore Clinique stay true makeup, with some loose powder, and just a random blush I had. I wore Stila duo in Kajiki on my lids, which is two very pretty teal colors. I used MAC Shroom as a highlight, with black eyeliner and mascara. I used Sephora gloss in Sugar Cookie.

Jackie - you will love the UD palette! The colors are fierce! It may be one of my favorite purchases in a long, long time. I am all about UD lately ... I want Kajiki! I am glad you like it, I have been lusting after it online, but saw it IRL on Friday at my new Sephora and I was in love. Gotta save up some cash though, I have been spending too much! Sad, but true ...
